Barcelona Ready for Historic Game at Partially Completed Camp Nou this Saturday

The club confirmed they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in La Liga two and a half years since relocating for construction to commence.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators can be present under the licence granted. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. Barça announced recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.

Recent Activities

Barcelona held a public practice at the Camp Nou earlier this month. Officials stated they were hoping for permission from European football’s governing body to play their next home Champions League game facing Eintracht on 9 December in the renovated venue. Their recent games have been held at the Olympic Stadium.
