Chopper Twirls Wildly into Palm Fronds at Well-Known California Coast
A chopper hovering above a crowded California beach unexpectedly began spiraling wildly, ultimately descending rapidly and smashing into a cluster of palm trees as onlookers watched.
Footage posted on the internet capture the helicopter beginning to twirl near Huntington Beach then descending near the border of the coast, where it becomes wedged amidst palms and a steps near the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Details
Emergency responders stated five persons were transported to a medical facility including a pair who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the crash on the weekend.
Three individuals on the pavement were injured. Information on their injuries were still under review.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
