Passengers flying with British Airways are set to access quick wifi onboard free of charge due to a major deal involving SpaceX's communications provider.

No-cost plus High-speed Connectivity Available to Everyone

The carrier stated that the no-cost, “fast and dependable” internet provision from Starlink is set to be available for travelers flying economy, business, and premium cabins starting the coming month.

Broad Rollout Across Several Flight Operators

The holding company for BA, IAG, announced it had reached an agreement involving the satellite firm to offer internet services for over 500 jets operated by the group's operators, which also include Aer Lingus, Iberia, plus Vueling.

British Airways noted that the introduction for the system formed part of a seven billion pound “upgrade” program and would offer smooth internet access for flyers starting at boarding through arrival, even when they are flying above seas and isolated areas.
