The Music Icon Embraces a Hell Version of Herself in Satirical Film Preview

The celebrated musician is preparing for a substantial big screen appearance in 2026, kicking off with the satirical film titled The Moment.

Within the project, Charli portrays what she calls as a twisted version of her own persona.

It’s the truest representation of the music industry that I’ve ever seen, the performer stated.

She elaborated in a conversation: It’s not a tour documentary, but the idea came from the pressure to create one.

An Early Look into The Moment

The debut trailer, launched on this week, combines actual recordings from her recent tour with made-up backstage scenes.

The mockumentary is directed and co-written by the director, who revealed that the narrative centers on a world where Charli made entirely different choices in the publicity of her chart-topping release Brat.

A Hectic Film Calendar

The mockumentary is just one of several forthcoming movie projects for the musician, who already appeared in three independent movies in the current year.

She recently joined to feature in Dakota Johnson’s first film as director A Tree in Blue.

February will also bring the release of the director’s interpretation of Wuthering Heights, which will include original songs from the artist.

Additionally, she will create the soundtrack for the film Mother Mary, featuring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release next year.

The film is scheduled to debut on 30 January.
